Brilliant, Chris Noland delivers again

One of the most sexy plot movie ever made. One of the worst trends in cinema over the last few years is the number of blockbuster films that have been devoid of plot. The majority of the big summer movies could have a plot synopsis written on the back of a business card. As the cinema screen explodes in front of your eyes, you long for a word containing more than two syllables.
Inception is a break from that tradition and for that alone it must be commended. The film follows Cobb (DeCaprio) who can extract information from people by breaking into their dreams. He is tasked with performing the more difficult task of planting an idea into a dream - The inception. He gets together a team of people who will help him accomplish the mission.
First the bad news. I didn"t particularly feel any emotional investment with any of the characters. The film doesn"t really have goodies and baddies in the traditional sense. That is not a bad thing, but I simply didn"t care very much what happened to any of the characters.
Now for the good news. The script and acting are all first rate. The effects are also very good and you have to say that Christopher Nolan is building up a great cv. DeCaprio must be a contender for next years best actor Oscar and it would be surprising if he doesn"t get at least a nomination. The supporting cast are also good and I"ve always enjoyed watching Ellen Page.
The best thing of all about the film is the ending. Pure class.

Inception theme. Inception score. Still one of. if not my absolute favorite movie. Can"t even count how many times I"ve watched it trying to figure out if he"s actually back in his present reality. I"ve caught new and different things each time I"ve watched it, which I love but I"m still not sure. The top starts to wobble like it"s going to fall over, putting him in the actual present, but paying attention to what his kids were wearing the day he had to leave them and then again when he supposedly makes it home appears to indicate the opposite since their clothes are the same. I love mind bending movies like this. Christopher Nolan is a genius in my humble opinion. I know others do not agree.

First time watching but I"ve heard so much good things about this movie... and from my opinion, WOW! speechless really. Inception definition. Inception review. Better than any the crap Disney is putting out. Inception reaction. Inception plot. Christopher nolan is such a great director. I want more movies like this man. Dom"s work is generally in corporate espionage. As the subjects don"t want the information to get into the wrong hands, the clients have zero tolerance for failure. Dom is also a wanted man, as many of his past subjects have learned what Dom has done to them. One of those subjects, Mr. Saito, offers Dom a job he can"t refuse: to take the concept one step further into inception, namely planting thoughts into the subject"s dreams without them knowing. Inception can fundamentally alter that person as a being. Saito"s target is Robert Michael Fischer, the heir to an energy business empire, which has the potential to rule the world if continued on the current trajectory. Eh, he should have just picked her up and jumped in front of the train together. He wakes Arthur up successfully by killing him which proves it would have woken Mal up as well. Sure, he"d be in the doghouse and would have to sleep on the couch for a week or so in the real would but would have been a hell of a lot simpler. You know the only reason im watching this is for harry. At this point, it"s not even really Mal - just Cobb"s subconscious projection of her. right. In addition to Youssif being Joseph who has 12 brothers in the old testament, Youssif also had 12 dreamers in the dream chamber scene.

This gave me serious chills. Oh my lord. Back when trailers didnt spoil the entire movie. For those looking for death defying stunts and huge explosions with big fireballs, I"m sorry to say but you won"t be getting any of that. For those who are looking for a good story filled movie with exciting and rich characters, I"m sorry to say that you won"t be getting any of that either. What you will be getting is the most realistic war movie I"ve ever seen. War and history aren"t about the big unrealistic fireballs or physics defying aerial dogfights, they"re about the story, and I don"t mean the cliche back in my home town blah blah. kind of story, I mean the story of what these soldiers stranded at Dunkirk went through. I won"t lie, some of this movie was a disappointment, the explosions were unrealistically and sometimes even comically too small in certain scenes but my biggest gripe is the fact that there were 400,000 British and French men evacuating on that beach but the movie made it seem a lot smaller than that but regardless Dunkirk puts you in the boots of one of those soldiers in a unique and realistic way. You"re stranded on a beach, all of your friends are dead, you just got your ass handed to you during the embarrassing Battle of France (or more widely known as the Fall of France) Europe has just fallen to the Third Reich and everyone of the remaining Allied nations is retreating to the last stronghold on the entire western half of the continent of Europe, Dunkirk, in the hopes of salvation by retreating across the waters of the English channel to the last bastion of the Allies, the British Isles. There isn"t going to be time for when I was younger I was sweet on this girl from blah blah blah. You"ve been defeated, beaten, and humiliated and trying desperately to go back to your home, Britain, while thinking that the population is going to hate you for loosing. This is a story about defeat, humiliation, and sorrow. At this point in the Second World War (1940) the Nazis were on a winning streak and it seemed as if there would be no changing that. You"re just trying to get home, to a country that you think will hate you, which makes the ending all the more sweeter.

I would never have watched this movie on my own accords, and I"ve never been more happy to have been forced to watch a movie. Epic. beautifully portrayed. i am crying. Harry styles performance in this was so good I was shook. This movie messed me up. I kept thinking I was lucid dreaming.

Best movies ever watched. Inception Interstellar. Who agrees... The twist in this movie was just awesome. Unpredictable. Leonardo was just flawless in the movie. His acting is just incredible. #Respect. Free movie talghine. 1:54 And that"s how the Magic works in Doctor Strange. Wow this movie is so deep. This is literally my 5th time watching it, and it never gets boring.

The reason he didn"t get Oscar for this is because he"s Overqualified. Isn"t the movie about being in a dream within a dream or something like that. Nothing beats Bane giving Nightwing advice on weaponry. Badman is really bad. Well underrated film. Absolutely riveting and horrifying. The best war movie I have ever seen.


Which would be worse? to live as a monster or to die as a good man Brilliant movie.
One of the most powerful endings to a film I"ve seen in recent memory.

Saito and cobb are the two strong men here eames and arthur come second than you got ariande and fisher and yusef there like babys in the inception game. One of my all time favorite movies

In medias res is Latin, not Greek. Inception movie trailer. Inception hans zimmer. Writer/Director Christopher Nolan"s follow up to the blockbuster Dark Night was always going to be highly anticipated. But with Inception he has more than delivered. In fact he has created a movie unlike any other. It combines action, drama and suspense, with intrigue, romance and it"s also a bit scary in parts. But somehow it never seems overdone, which is a testament to Nolan"s skill. Dom Cobb (Leonardo Di Caprio) is a master of a new form of corporate espionage called extraction – stealing people thoughts from their subconscious while they sleep. This ability has made him both sought after and a wanted man unable to go home. A powerful businessman (Ken Watanabe) offers him a job - that could wipe the slate clean and get his life back - involving inception: planting (rather than stealing) a thought in a competitor"s mind while he sleeps. This is a complex film with multiple layers, and requires a fair bit of concentration. From the first seconds to the very end it bombards you with fascinating twists and turns, incredible special effects, thrilling action sequences, and thought provoking characters. With such a rich tapestry of cinema on show here, you could easily see this movie more than once. Di Caprio gives another great performance. He both suits the role and does a lot with it. Joining Cobb"s adventure are his team played by Ellen Page (Juno) Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and Dileep Rao, who are all great. Their characters are probably not developed as much as I would like, but in this film there simply isn"t time. Tom Hardy is particularly good as the tough, cool and suave Eames. I think we will be seeing a lot more of him. And Marion Cotillard is again excellent. There"s even notable actors in small parts like Michael Caine, Tom Berenger and Pete Postlethwaite, which is a nice touch. Like The Matrix or Memento, this is a movie that will be discussed and debated. It"s thought-provoking, visually stunning and highly entertaining. It"s been a long time since I saw a movie that left the audience gasping at the end. If you only see two movies this year, see Inception twice.

This movie was great, but when I watched it in an AMC theatre they maxed out the speakers and it sounded terrible. I didn"t care a lot about the characters but the story was compelling and uniquely told. Well done, Nolan. Leo in a movie is the stamp of quality that you all need. Leo doesn"t appear in shit movies. You remember me telling you this, you"ll find it"s true.

I loved it and I would rate it a good 7/10. This songs brings out something that I have never experienced before. Tears start rolling through my eyes and I can"t control it neither I know the reason behind it. OK I"m going to watch this???? wish me luck ??. Inception, a movie about "everlasting love. Notice how "Cob" Leonardo Dicaprio) and his wife in the film named "Maul" share a totem? That"s symbolism of their everlasting love for one another. When in the movie "Maul" apparently dies, Cob" is left with an uncompromised situation of whether his totem is dictating a false reality or a real one. You see because they both had to believe in the totem, a symbol that meant "they both had to believe in each other and their love for one another" it meants that if one partner dies the totem becomes completey unreliable. First off, never share a totem, it inflicts the apparent necessity of each persons to believe in it to make it useful. When Maul dies, the audience couldn"t possibly tell whether or not she "made the correct decision" because the story then leads to believe she was delusional and then the story continues to move onward with Cob being "framed for the murder of his wife. Notice how the entire movie is about Cob trying to get back home to his children? That"s because the ENTIRE movie revolves around the moment Cobs wife dies. When she died the totem became unreliable to Cob, notice how Cob controls the totem with his mind through the loss of his wife? In every sequence or scene when Cob is in a dream with Maul, the totem keeps on spinning forever, symbolism for "love. If Maul really DID make the correct decision when she jumped off the ledge to kill herself inside of a dream to see her kids in what humans would call "the real world" then Cob would be at loss in insanity to believe that his definiton of "the real world" is the level at which he lost his wife. Do you recall the elevator scene with multiple levels? That"s an indication of "dream leveling" making simultaneous levels of dreams. If Maul is dead on that "level" of dream in Cobs mind, then that means that"s where Cob recognises that "level" to be "void of" or "without" Maul. Therefore because Maul is no longer with Cob on that level of dream casting the totem proves to Cob his heart is broken because his wife has allegedly "died" on that level, which means the totem falls over, because notice how I said the totem represents "everlasting love. As I explain the ending of this movie Inception, just keep in mind that Cob was in limbo ever since his wife passed away, again notice how I said the ENTIRE movie revolves around the loss of Maul. Okay so here"s the ending explained, when Cob gets back to his family in the United States, he spins the totem one more time and notices his children playing in the yard. Well he then goes off to the yard to be with his beloved kids, and because he loves his kids so much the totem keeps spinning, a symbolism of "unconditional love. It"s only because Maul isn"t there "in Cobs mind" on that level of dream casting) where you see a tiny flicker of the totem about to fall down just before the last cut scene. The totem represents "everlasting love" and because in Cob and Maul"s dreams they wanted to have perfect lifes, that means the totem was perfect, meaning it would never fall down. But because Cob"s heart was broken his totem proved to him an imperfect life, thus the "spinning top falling over. So as you see you should never share a totem it is high stakes for insanity. Cobs totem became his demise because he shared his totem with his wife. The totem represents a perfect reality from an imperfect one and everyone is aware we don"t always get perfect dreams.
